Tonight was the first airing of the first episode of NBC's latest reality show based on the popular show, The Apprentice. But this version of the apprentice is a little different, as they are calling it The Celebrity Apprentice. Instead of the usual contestants, Donald Trump brought in a wide range of celebrities, including the beautiful supermodel and raw food author, Carol Alt.
Carol has some tough competition, as there will only be one winner. Her competitors include rock legend Gene Simmons, reality TV judge Piers Morgan, actor Stephen Baldwin, always obnoxious Omarosa...and star of TAXI and health food author, Marilu Henner. 14 celebrities. One winner. Who will it be?!
Tonight was the first episode. Did you watch the show? What did you think? Are you excited to see more of Carol Alt? How do you think Carol will do on the show? Do you think she has what it takes to win?
And for those that saw the first episode, what did you think about selling hot dogs? Ew, gross? Or standard reality television plot lines?

I didn't realize Carol would be on it too; I had blogged about Marilu. The more health crusaders, the merrier! Certainly better for raw fooders than Tonya's appearance on that silly Sci Fi channel Superhero show. ;)
Carol looks spectacular for almost 50 years old. I can't say the same for Donald's repulsive hair. Carol is a professional and the overall feel of the show is too low vibe for her, but I am sure it is an interesting experience to be working with that group. The trailer for next week looks like Gene Simmons may get the boot...maybe she can hang in there for a couple of episodes!
does anyone know if they repeat this on another day before next week. in the past Trump's show was repeated. I am in Brazil at the moment and can watch it through my Slingbox. Just need to know if it will be repeated and will record the rest of the shows. please email me at JTanyu@aol.com.

Jessica, It looks like they'll be re-aired every week on Saturdays at 8 and 11 PM Eastern on CNBC.
Wow... I must say though; Carol sure looks a lot better on her raw food site than on that show. Amazing what photoshop can do :)

Hey Penni - You are so right - Carol is looking fabulous! You have a good point that it is a "low vibe" show, but sometimes it is fun to get down and dirty in a wild adventure like The Apprentice!

@zenpawn - I think it will be fascinating to watch the interaction between Marilu and Carol. Heidi actually tried to follow Marilu's diet plan years ago. Very different from raw food. Lots of natural stuff, though.
@penni - She certainely does! I'm always eager to see what someone looks like on TV, without all the fluff and with all the guff. Her skin, beauty, body, and composure are outstanding.
