Heidi's Juice Feast: Recording The Experience

I just want to take a moment and give you the setup for how I am going to log my daily posts.

This is a guideline for the format of each daily post. Every day, at the end of each day, I will record my experiences and post them on the blog. In addition, if I have any thoughts that are longer then just a few sentences, I will write an additional post or posts for these thoughts.

There is an excellent document that you can print out that is a part of the official juice feasting program. I plan on using a slightly modified form of this document on paper, which I will transfer to each daily blog post.

Heidi's Daily Juice Feasting Log

Date and Day of Juice Feast

Daily Juice & Supplements: This is usually the most interesting aspect of juice feasting for most people, so I will talk about my juices first. Whenever possible I will be including recipes with specific amounts of ingredients, but not every juice will be listed that way. If a specific recipe is not given, I will simply list the main ingredients of a juice in the order from the largest ingredient to the smallest ingredient.

Weight: I will weigh myself in the morning, or whenever possible. My main weigh in will be every 7 days.

Body Measurements: I will measure my body weekly.

Exercise: As spring is approaching and as I enter the later parts of the juice feast, I plan to engage in a wide variety of physical activity.

Energy Levels: I will briefly mention how my energy levels were throughout the day.

Emotions: If I have had any specific emotions, I will mention them.

Hours of Sleep: Throughout the juice feast I plan to sleep less than I normally do. I will record how many hours I sleep, and it will be interesting to see how that changes over time.

Dreams/ Lucid Dreaming: Both JS and I are very interested in dreams, as well as the power of lucid dreaming. I have been gifted with the ability to lucid dream since I was a small child, but I have not been able to recapture the extent of my dream control since I was about 16 or so. It is my hope that my abilities to lucid dream will grow throughout the juice feasting experience.

Detoxification symptoms: One of the reasons I have chosen to juice feast is that the amount of detoxification symptoms should be minimal due to the amount of calories and nutrition brought via the juice. However, if I have any detoxification symptoms, I will mention it.

Positive Changes to note: I have many goals I want to accomplish through juice feasting which I will discuss in more detail soon. I want to record when I notice positive changes, and it will be exciting to see what happens.

Food cravings: It will be interesting for me to see what foods I desire while I am on a juice feast. Since JS is not juice feasting with me, he will be eating solid foods in addition to a much smaller amount of juices compared to my daily intake. I am committed to this juice feast experience, yet I want to record what I desire now so that I can make sure to have lots of fun with raw food when I have completed this journey!

Misc. If there are any other information to add, I'll talk about it at the end of each day. In particular, if I have had any interesting personal experiences to note, I will talk about it after I have listed all the other daily information.

And no, I'm not including EVERYTHING. If there are some experiences that are personal, I am going to keep them personal. A girl should always have a few secrets!
